Tree Boxes

Thanks to my great neighboorhood friends, Mark & Bill, We now have tree boxes around the two trees in front of our house. They are so perfect! Now all I have to do is plant flowers in them. Any suggestions?

    Mums for right now. (they die after hard frost) Be sure to get some bulbs in there for spring. Daffodils (look for early blooming varieties), Grape Muscari, crocus. Don't put tulips, they don't last very long (bulb-wise) Next spring you can put plants in when they come out in the garden centers.
